We have about 30 laying hens which capture the attention of children as they run back and forth and look for things to peck.  We started this new flock this spring and they'll begin laying eggs around Thanksgiving time.  Fresh eggs from free range chickens are excellent!

We have a nanny and billy goat pair this year.  Our billy goat is just a kid and is named Romano (Maano is his nickname).  He likes to climb and jump and do all kinds of things - his mother tolerates his playfulness pretty well. 

We also have a family of cats and kitties that make their home at the barn.  You'll seem them their when you visit.  If you or your kids love kitties they will capture your affection. 

So when you come out, be sure to take a walk to the barnyard to visit our furry and feathered animal friends.
