About Wills Family Orchard

Hi, there! We’re the Wills Family & we want to welcome you to our farm!

Our local family farm runs along a ridge top in Dallas County, Iowa. Another way to describe it, is that we don’t have much flat ground on our farm! Our hilly location however, provides us and our visitors with panoramic views of the country side that surrounds us making it a great place to take in the beautiful colors of fall. We built our home and our orchard business from the ground-up, one-step-at-a-time and we couldn’t have done it without our family, friends and visitors who support us. Fast-forward to 2025, and you’ll see our farm has grown to include 65 acres and a barn complex that serves as a our General Store, Kitchen/Bakery, Apple Handling, Cooling and Storage areas.

Though we have left the woods that surround us nearly untouched, we continue to plant more apple, peach, and cherry trees nearly each year. Our working farm consists of 8 acres of apple trees, one acre of peach trees, five acres of pumpkins, a 1-acre maze, hundreds of fall mums, our friendly barnyard animals and many farm-fun activities that we offer to our visitors. We are mindful of how our farming practices impact our soil, food crops, timber, water resources, and those who work, play, and visit here. Consequently, we have chosen to use science-based biological methods in our “sustainably grown” and “certified organic” portions of our farm.
